After suffering for the past few months with an ever deteriorating HTC Desire 510 (and after breaking my One M7) I decided to go for my first ever contract phone, and to keep my fanboy-ish ways up, I went and got myself the One M9 today!

So far so good! The sound quality is more than impressive and the responsiveness and performance is outstanding!

M9 would be my second choice. I dropped (and completely totaled) my X Pure, so I've been using my old M8. I RMA'd the X Pure, so hopefully the new one will get here soon.

Where did you drop it from a roof?.

Motorola phones are tough, My moto E has taken some big drops and theres not even a scratch on it.

If you feel like the M8/M9 is a little bit too solid, the X Pure might be worth a look. I know the specifications/performance beats almost all of the phones out there right now. I'm very unhappy with Motorola's logistics, though. Twice, I've had my order cancelled (without reason), and it took more than 2 weeks for the phone to come the first time.

I've considered getting the m8 I heard,alto of good,things about htc. I'm just in love with my LG g3

Talking of shattering devices, you guys should have a look at the Moto X Force. It seems shatter proof from what I hear.
