Does anyone here use HOIC? Is it good for DDOS-ing sites?
I just downloaded, and I have no idea how to make it powerful. Any tips on how to use it the best?

HOIC is worse than LOIC. You cause more strain on the Tor nodes than the target.

Lulz. HOIC? Really, there's more powerful tools than that out there. All can be found from google, and ran from an terminal/cmd. Please keep that AnonSkid tool off here. HOIC(Hi Orbit ION Cannon), isn't anything but an over powered HTTP Packet sender, that sends [x] amt of connections with a certain packet to the web server. I advise you to look into Layer-7 attack methods, if any.
