i think 5 years is a good time span, maybe 10. I wish google fiber was available near me.

It wouldn't be as fast since everyone would have it. It'll still be fast though.

Agreed. By the time Google can get it across the entire country it would have slowed down extensively, but it will still be faster than the average internet today. I estimate 5 years to get it across the country and by then it'll probably the half the speed it is now.
