In my country, stores/retailers have taken It upon themselves to shut down and stop trading. The virus continues to spread and the economy Is not looking good. The government Is now talking of a lock down, but this should've been done the moment there were signs of the virus getting out of control.

May I ask, which country you are in?

In my home country (UK), the military are being used to; build hospitals, transport PPE, drive oxygen tankers, transport medical staff to the Falklands, operate recovery centres, support our ambulance services, test NHS staff and provide medical personnel support for NHS nightingale. In future they will be operating mobile testing units.

In my opinion, that is how the military should be involved. Not as a police force.
