Running Windows? 7/8/8.1/10
Get rid of it. M$ is implementing telemetry and other crap. Screw them.
I personally reimaged all machines to Debian the other day from Windows 7. Screw them trying to strip privacy.

So? It's not like they actually steal your data. The "keylogger" is a internet explorer feature that send your words to bing as you type in your task/search bar on the top of Edge and IE in order to give you recommendations on where to go exactly like google is doing with their search engine and web browser. This can all be disabled. There is no reason why you would leave Windows to a inferior (unless you do more complicated tasks like server hosting or just don't play vidya ever) OS just yet.
Take off your tinfoil hat: its not good for you hair.

Sharing WiFi passwords is the least of your concerns. They have given themselves the right to look through your "private" communications, sync encryption recovery keys, and basically do anything they deem appropriate to "ensure security".
