my attempt to social engineer an Oculus Rift (found here) concludes the following email I sent to their support team:

Problem's with this idea:
1. The product isn't available until 2016.
2. This wouldn't work unless you provided proof.
3. You wear the product on your face (over your eyes...), I highly doubt you'd be sending an email with a burned face/eyes.
4. "Anything you can do to get me satisfied would be appreciated." - No.
