RE: Homosexual Marriage #41
I think it should be allowed. To me it is like religion: You hate the people that go around and shove it in your face but those that keep it to themselves are just fine. I don't mind a guy telling me he has a husband, but when they act any different than a man and a woman would, that's a step too far. I know it's a little ignorant to think like that, I still wouldn't really want to hear about a man and a woman's night in bed, but i wouldn't mind it near as much as with two guys. Just my thoughts.

Homosexual marriage should be allowed and I don't think it should be ultimately decided upon by a group of people. Who's to say who we can or cannot spend the rest of our lives with?

On several research experiments, homosexuality was found to not be an acquired trait; it was found to be embedded in your mind upon birth. So, what is the difference between a marriage between a man and a female, or a female and a female, or a male and a male? Society is so corrupt that it's actually entertaining the idea of not allowing us to do what we want. It's sad.

If someone wants to wear clothes that dont fit the social norm should it be illegal?

Why cant a man love a man? Why cant a women love a women?

Dont start deciding someones fate based on your beliefs.
Its not your life.

As many here agree, homosexual marriage is a very touchy issue. I respect all people regardless of whether they are straight or otherwise, but feel that marriage has a procreation element to it, which homosexuality does not. It is very well known that for procreation, a man and woman are required. I also feel that children must grow up with a male father and a female mother.

Everything said, everyone is entitled to their opinions and choices, and must face the consequences of making those choices.

Yet by making that comment there you not only contradict yourself by stating you believe that they can run their own lives only to turn around and state that you don't think they should, marriage is marriage it is just a union between two people, there is no element of anything to it, the only element there is to marriage is that a man and a woman, a man and a man or indeed a woman and a woman who love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together become wed by law, their properties and belongings properly belong to each other and so on.

It is ridiculous to think that just because socially it is looked down upon that everyone has to abide by the same code, it's tarring everyone with the same brush, which isn't right.

Hmm so this isn’t really a touchy subject, and modern marriage is t a Christian thing at all. We do t swap goats and cows for brides in the modern world.

It boils down to the rights that marriage gives couples, be it straight or gay. There are over a thousand rights established when you get married, those are rights conferred by the government not the church. In fact you do t even need a church involved to get married, a court officiant can marry two people.

And honestly if you do not like the thought of marrying a man don’t. If you can’t fathom a woman marrying a woman then don’t. You choose who you want to marry no one else should have that say in your life.

Love no matter what form it takes with exception, pedo shit is gross. Love is a natural thing in humans, we seek it throughout our lives, some people only get 1 maybe 2 great loves, and some men and women fall in love with anyone they sleep with.

The only thing unnatural is a lonely human, we are almost genetically programmed to find love is whatever form it takes.

Your freedom ends where mine begins.
Just because you're a Christian doesn't mean you have the right to decide other people's happiness. Neither do I.
Do what you want, as long as no one gets hurt. Want to marry a man? Your choice.

The lack of acceptance and giving religion power over what is right and wrong has led to many wars and pointless bloodshed.

Each individual deserves these rudimentary rights. You should be able to espouse whoever you want, with the exception of minors, of course. I do not understand why so many people are fortifying it to be ostracized from their countries. This is snatching away someone's freedom. Let them be! What are they doing to you? We should be progressing, not mentally moving backwards.
