Hello fellow Chit n Chat members! I want to give you all hope!

I think that everyone was a little sad when Wonders initially picked the first staff members. I doubt there was a single member who wasn't slightly disappointed. Then, Wonders announced that there would be an advisor which was Sunlight. A few other people were saddened when they were not picked- ESPECIALLY a particular member who shall remain nameless. This is the important part where you should PAY ATTENTION! I think more members become less active once they know that they have no chance of becoming a moderator. I had lost hope of this happening both times when Wonders announced that they were picking new mods. Out of the blue, Wonders and Shallow decided that they needed more mods as the site is vastly growing and that they let a staff member go. The member that stopped using CnC once Sunlight was picked over them for the advisor position probably would have been picked instead of Chuck or instead of Preside/OversouL.

My main point is that I want you all to know that there is still hope and a good chance for you to become a member if you really want it! I stayed active because I love the site and now I am where I currently stand! I know that this might not last forever for me and there is a possibility for me to get "fired" from my position but it is a great feeling while it lasts! The longer you stay active and a high quality member, the higher your chance will be for becoming a moderator in the future!

I dont give a shit if i dont get picked, It gives me more work and responsibilities, The main fact that people wanted to be Moderator or Advisor is because they get more rep and attention, People just want more to themselves, Think about it if you became mod you catch all the problems and you have to maintain countless threads, Its just like school but given more responsibilities.

I totally agree with you- I've been looking at old and new threads all day! But look at all of the HQ members that have left or even "thrown tantrums" (not exactly but basically) and left? A lot of members instantly stopped becoming nearly as active once they weren't picked. I think everyone could see that. I just don't want that to happen anymore to anyone so I'm trying to give those members who want more to be happy and full of hope!

Actually no one left because of that reason. He made this thread to put hope in other members so they won't feel bad that they didn't get picked.

I honestly believe this thread is rubbish. Not needed.

If people want to leave, then they leave, why should we care? If they want mod, then they want mod, why should we care about that? You are making us sound like we need the extra 1 member...
