Hey guys,
I'm currently getting ready to order all the parts to build my PC.

Before doing so I just wanted to post it up on here to get some feedback and maybe any advice before ordering anything.

The main purpose for this build is productivity (graphic design, coding, multitasking, video editing, sound editing, podcasting, streaming)
However, I would still like it to run great during gaming.

At the moment I'm not sure if I should stick with the 1080ti or if I should switch to an RTX 2080.

This is my first build, and I know I can just upgrade parts in the future. But I'd rather take advantage of my budget right now which is about 1k.

Excellent choice with the 6 core CPU, Inclusive of the RTX 2060 VC. Personally, I'd opt for a minimum of 32 GB of Ram.
In terms of the SSD, I assume It's the boot/OS drive?

As i see you have a very good setup in here... so keep going on to this, but as @mothered  say, why not adding more ram? especially if you're getting into heavy design/rendering work.

You also need to allow for expansion, meaning future computing developments/advancements. Here's one of my systems running 16 GB of Ram- simply consumed by 4 weeks of uptime and around 60 browser tabs active.

If I were to run a couple of VMs simultaneously, I'd run out of memory.

It looks good to me. The only things I can point out are for a 2060 you might get a better AMD GPU for that price, if you have no loyalty. Also, depending on what you are using it for you could get a smaller SSD. I'm going to assume you want windows and some programs on it, that's a good size. I personally use a 500GB SSD for the important things and a 2TB spinning disk for storage. I also have a NAS for a hot backup.

i dont know if you have finish the system or not, if not then for the main drive i would strongly recommend SSD drive along with more RAM, lastly if you like you can upgrade the cooling system it helps alot.

I really like this set up but maybe opt for a little less expensive motherboard as it seems unnecessary for this build, so cut down on the motherboard and get some extra ram perhaps, can also get higher Mhz Ram as 3000 isn't that high for todays standard.

32 GB Is the way to go nowadays.
