What's your favorite language?

I really love javascript, visualbasic, python, html, and css. But out of all I would say that my favourite is python. So, what's yours?

Drop it down below and if you have a reason that too!

Not sure if I'd go with C++ or C#, but probably Sharp for the most of it; mainly because if its simplicity.

I really like Python, as it was the first language I learned for serious after HTML and CSS. I am looking forward to start learning about C though, as I start to get bored with Python :p

Nice. It's always good to have a functional language under your belt, and if you haven't started already I recommend you carry on with your plan.

As for myself, it's hard to choose a favorite tool for the job. It's like asking a mechanic what his favorite wrench set is, even though they all have different shapes and sizes. For general use, though, Python is good. Anything speed critical is usually a C++ job for me.

Python, because it's fast enough that a project can keep within my attention span till I finish it (most of the time)

You ever try Shell Scripts for Linux? If you're into command line stuff and scripting then Bash is the bee's knees.
