Favourite coding language? #1
I'm curious to know what the programmers on sinister.ly coding in the most?

I'm into scripting language such as python, perl, bash. etc. (bash is kind of useless imo)

I really want to learn PHP & C++/C but i feel like u need to be very smart and i'm not that confident in myself to learn for aggreasive languages.

What's your favourite?

What would you like to learn next?

Bash is not useless, you just don't know enough about the OS you use it on.
And you don't need to be smart to program, you only need to be able to think in code/logically.
If you dedicate enough of your time to it then you _can_ learn C or C++ but they're incredibly powerful and complex languages and they will take a lot of time to learn depending on what your end goal is but just know that they're used almost everywhere so finding a job when you're proficient with any of those low level languages will be easy.

The language that I'm the most comfortable using is probably PHP, though due to its simplicity I kind of cringe at calling it a "programming language". As for a real language, it would probably have to be C#.
Edit: Misread coding as programming..

I don't really have a favorite, I know Python, NodeJS, and very minimal Bash and Php. It really depends on what I'm writing for me to use it, so I'd say they're all pretty equal.

Also, for those switching from Python to Node, I'd recommend using Iced CoffeeScript. It's got a nice Python flavor.

Mainly make joke scripts in python, like "super doxing tools" that just grep stuff from databases and print something stupid like "You've been hacked!"

or i code for $$$, usally it's all to do with data. However i've coded bot's and stuff like that too.

What do you do?
