Favorite manga/anime character?

A fairly straight forward question really, though its one that I hope that we can get some conversations out of. I would like to ask you, who and/or what is your favorite character in manga/anime? I would also like to ask you to please tell us why, share your opinions with others, what makes a character good in your opinion? If you are unable to decide upon a single character, then share your opinions on a few of the characters you really like.

Hm, my favorite anime character is without doubt Saitama (aka One Punch Man) He is by far the funniest character i've ever seen in by far the funniest Anime I've ever seen, I love One Punch Man and Saitama more than you could ever know.

Never liked Saitama, he was even poorly portrayed in the anime than the manga. That being said, the funniest character in One Punch Man has to be King.

The deadpan attitude of Saitama killed me he was hilarious although clearly he had a lack of personality, I never found King that interesting to be honest.

The thing about Saitama is that he is so painfully annoying because his character is made to be funny, it is pushed into your face constantly. The jokes got old the second time, the millionth time it was just annoying. Saitama is meant to be a joke. (Hence why he isn't funny in the long run.)
