That's hilarious. A combination I've never come across, and probably never will.

Mine was when I went out for dinner with some friends to a pizza place, and I ordered a medium capricciosa.

Much to my surprise, he came to my table with a family pizza and said "For someone of your size, this Is to make sure you're still not hungry, but don't tell anyone". What he was referring to was my height at 198 cm. I wasn't charged extra, and kindly thanked him afterwards.

Nice write-up. The interesting part for me is that the byte sequence itself wasn't the actual problem—the debugging showed how important it is to verify what is happening at runtime rather than assuming the disassembly is the issue.

The hard-coded function address is also a good example of why shellcode like this isn't portable across different Windows versions/processes. A more universal approach would need to resolve the required API dynamically instead of relying on a fixed address.

Also, the null-byte reduction in the later revision is a neat optimization. Good example of how understanding the underlying instructions is more useful than simply copying the generated bytes.
