One could argue they are liable for what happened to his daughter...

I would say the school is 100% liable without a doubt. It happened on their premises due to a policy they put in place. And then didn’t take the appropriate action after it happened.

Not only are they liable for the assault they also negligently handled it afterwards.

Absolutely. This would have been swept under the rug had no one reported on this initially. They are only sorry they were caught.

Following up, the mother of the rapist has now released a statement saying the victim is at fault for not defending herself.
