Spoiler: Nothing's going to happen because of "...Zuckerberg's voting control of the stock, which means he can swat away shareholder demands."

But well worth the share of this article.

Interesting read. The video Is also worthy of watching.

I doubt this will ever happen, though.
Quote:It’s now clear that independent Facebook investors voted overwhelmingly in support of proposals last week to fire Mark Zuckerberg as chairman and scrap the firm’s share structure.

I knew Zuckerberg screwed up, but not so much that his own company hates him. I wonder who would take over if this happened.

To be honest, I don't know any other 'high profile' names at FaceBook. I know there's a woman who's prominent, but... I don't know any of them. Actually, it makes me wonder who are the other 'brains' behind the organization. Surely there are those who bolster the company.

Zucks got a bad name now - hes damaging facebook by association and they can't have a fresh start whilst hes still at the front of the company. I imagine Facebook is absolutely tanking at the moment due to all the scandals and whatever - investors and advertisers pulling out all over the place.

I imagine they'll eventually get rid of him - a bit like bill gates with microsoft etc.

I actually don't know the history of Microsoft. Was Bill Gates ousted or did he walk away?

From what I remember I think he was pushed into walking away. With all these big tech companies they eventually have to find someone who suits running a global mega-corporation more than the founder, as the founder is usually a more creative type of person and not too great at the whole speeches and diplomacy side of it.

Plus, after a while they need someone they can throw under the bus and it tends to be that the mob will only take the most recongnisable face. The whole privacy thing won't go away with zuck still in charge, as in the public's eyes he's the one who is responsible for it.
