A couple of work friends who're a lot younger than me, had the first shot and they experienced nausea, fever and chills. Mine was only a sore arm.
It doesn't necessarily seem genetics driven how you respond so far as I can tell. A lot of close blood relatives seem to have wildly different responses to the same vaccine. I wonder if it has any link to how you'd have responded to the real vaccine
