FDA grants first ever approval to Pfizer's Covid Vaccine - Spooky - 08-23-2021 Quote:Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the first COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine has been known as the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, and will now be marketed as Comirnaty (koe-mir’-na-tee), for the prevention of COVID-19 disease in individuals 16 years of age and older. The vaccine also continues to be available under emergency use authorization (EUA), including for individuals 12 through 15 years of age and for the administration of a third dose in certain immunocompromised individuals. Can you imagine the uproar if the approval was denied? RE: FDA grants first ever approval to Pfizer's Covid Vaccine - Boudica - 08-23-2021 Wait, I'm confused. Has this not been out for ages? However, that was months ago when they were still bringing in doses and they had not long been approved. I'm not sure if that's still the case. Yeah 4 weeks for me as well. Looking forward to it. 2nd one for Pfizer should in theory be a bit harsher on me, who knows if I will only receive a small arm/muscle ache like last time, or it's fever time lmao. |
