No this is quite normal to be honest, many tech companies are often 'compelled' to write backdoors into their programs especially for law enforcement. If you are at risk of the FBI investigating you
and accessing your camera remotely like this, then you have bigger problems to worry about and your OPSEC should be much better than that tbh. Black tape it always doing the magic, and if you have
an Open source OS or like tails, you have nothing to worry about.
