EA Teases Battlefield 4 #1

EA has sent out event invitations to members of US press including CVG and IGN. Save the date for March 26, as EA could be the unveiling the next iteration of the Battlefield franchise, Battlefield 4.

The event is scheduled to take place at 7pm in a movie theatre.

While the invite holds off disclosing the subject of the event, IGN notes that the background image, showing what appears to be street lights blurred by heavy rain, features a similar tone and colour palette to that of the iconic Battlefield 3 box art, which made heavy use of dark blues offset with striking shades of orange.

So far, EA have revealed nothing about the game but recent EA title 'Medal of Honor: Warfighter' suggests that people who pre-ordered that game early will get access to a Battlefield 4 beta early. Battlefield 4 is expected to be released in late 2013, just in time for next-gen consoles; a reveal at this current juncture would certainly seem about right.

Looks like EA is fed up with the Battlefield 4 tease and why? Check this out then and it's from CVG (Computer & Video Games)

Quote:"

EA will reveal Battlefield 4 at its previously-teased San Francisco press conference on March 26.

While previous invites for the event left out specifics, it was already heavily speculated that the event would be related to Battlefield sequel.

Now it's official. "Dice invites you to the unveiling of Battlefield 4," confirms a new invite received by CVG today.

"Please join us to celebrate a new era of Battlefield," it adds.

So far, EA has revealed nothing of the game other than its numerical title, and that early beta access would be granted to those who pre-ordered Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

The game has reportedly been shown to members of retail, however, as GameStop CEO Paul Raines claimed to have been wowed by a Battlefield 4 showing in February"

Lastly I have found this from a great forum member. Smile *Note* This may not be the final boxart. But who knows?

When I first seen threads like this I read it as literally Teasing, like pickong on.

BUT Back on topic, hopefully I have a job and enough money to buy a good enough PC for BF4, lolol

Yea, that can't possibly be a boxart at all. The character has to much detail, and normally, DICE uses a solder standing straight or in a position, not in a runners position though.

But who knows, it could be real. But they would probably change it, since who wants to see a image they saw ages before it was on the cover?
