Dyscourse

Quote:GOBBLER’S KNOB
A lot of discussion has gone on to discuss exactly how much time Bill Murray’s character spent stuck in that loop in Groundhog Day. Harold Ramis, director of the film, said on several separate occasions that Murray spent anywhere from 10-40 years reliving the same day over and over, which explains how he got so good at everything. But, actor Stephen “It’s a doozy” Tobolowsky and screenwriter Danny Rubin vehemently disagree, and our crack team of number crunchers here at Chrono.gg HQ are on their side.
Throughout the course of the film, we see 23 separate days depicted, but those days are slices of life from over 10,000 years worth of loops. In the end, however everyone is happy, and Groundhog Day is a rousing success. But what if instead of an insignificant holiday, the loop day was stuck on something much more important? What if instead, Bill Murray had to decide what to do in the aftermath of a mysterious plane crash? How many innocent groundhogs would he blow up then?
That’s kind of the vibe in today’s game Dyscourse, but instead of a depressed weather reporter who eventually went on to be the voice of Baloo the bear, you’re Rita, an “art-school grad turned barista” who actually does get trapped in a plane crash. What follows is a completely dynamic choose-your-own-adventure where every choice counts and the only way to get that perfect run is to learn from experience. Hopefully it doesn’t take you 10,000 years, though. That’s a lot of accidental cannibalism you’ll have to avoid.
