Acer's keyboards are pretty robust, so I always opt for that manufacturer.

I type relatively loud and fast compared to my peers, and it seems to annoy them when we are at work typing up a report and such. If you aint typing loud there aint enough enthusiasm in what you are working on.

I definitely think the type of keyboard makes a hella difference though. Everyone goes through phases of typing loudly, in enthusiasm or in writing an angry email xD

Absolutely.

I hit the keys quite hard, and I've noticed a difference In reduction of sound between my new laptop (the keys are a lot more sturdy) and those purchased 2 years ago.

I actually type hard on my keyboard. I can type gently but ever since I gre more passionate about writing, I really enjoyed typing hard since it made me more eager to really express what i want to write down.
