Does anyone not use antivirus?

I've ran into a few people that don't even use any antivirus.
Are you one of those people?
If so why don't you use antivirus.
Inb4 I rat, and it'll detect it.

I do not use an anti virus on both my Linux and Windows 7.

They take a lot of recources. I always look at the files unless it is from something trusted such as Microsoft. Protecting from real time is very easy. Lets say someone has an CVE exploit(exploit kit/pack). You can counter by using something that disables Java Script.
Well to think of it, I do use anti-viruses time to time to scan my computer(only Windows becuase my linux, I do not really download anything).
Some please say, if you are a hacker, you do not need an anti virus, you can destroy them. Well um no, your just plain dumb :p

I know what you mean.
I have two computers that I use, one with antivirus that I use for regular stuff, and one without antivirus so that I can test out new servers and stuff.

Well I do not test servers on my non-anti virus, I do them with vmware and part of the analysis I have a disposible virtual box

I've wiped my non-antivirus computer so many times.
It's just because I like to fuck around with it and it's a cheap computer.

I formatted my laptop this morning, so I haven't reinstalled everything (that includes my antivirus).
I'll be downloading Malwarebytes now. Tongue

No antivirus. If it's a file I'll be running a lot, I take the time to disassemble it and figure out what the program does exactly before running it, and if I only need it a few times I'll just sandbox it.

zero active AV. i scan with Hitman, SAS, MBAM from time to time though. VirusTotal uploader is a must.

Does anyone not use antivirus?
