money can buy you happiness but not health so if you rich and not healthy then thats the same as being poor but if you healthy and rich then money can buy you want you want

Maybe not so much happiness, but money or some wealth is needed to take care of your basic needs. It's hard to be happy without food and shelter

Well, I think you can't really be happy if you have to worry about being able to pay for your basic needs like food,rent etc. but in the end there is a lot more to being happy besides money

Not directly no. I do however believe that money can enable happiness (however fleeting). Also, a lack of money can cause unhappiness…

Money buys CHOICES. If you're not making good choices without money, you probably won't even with money. Thats why trailer park lotto winners go broke and get arrested, and a family man on a wage is still a family man after he inherits his parent's savings. Money doesn't for sure buy you happiness, but it DOES buy you freedom to make choices.

Of course a bunch of money will buy fast short term happiness, but I think the question is usually asked in the bigger picture context .

It buys freedom and time, so it can lead to happiness, but material possessions cannot.

Money alone doesn't buy happiness but I think that you need some amount of money to be happy.
