Do you still use Minecraft 1.8.x, or the latest version? #1
The vast majority of all servers in existence still use the very outdated 1.8 version as their core, and due to this factor, I still use Minecraft 1.8.9. I haven't even touched Minecraft 1.10 or anything above it; I have only tried 1.9 out. I dislike single-player mode, and only find it useful for testing out my mods.

Which version do you use, and why?

I am actually happy that MS is updating Minecraft pretty often rn, mostly playing 1.16.4 cause of servers I play on. 1.9+ PvP is way better than macro kids on 1.8 just spamming Smile

Other versions of Minecraft (such as 1.9 and higher) can now run on Hypixel servers, but for the best player experience, I recommend using 1.8. For most casual players, the bedrock version of Minecraft is the only way to go. Compared with Java Edition, it is easier to enter and more stable. It also allows you to use other platforms, which is a real advantage. Speaking of game, witch minecraft server types do you prefer? I think Craftbukkit is the most ideal server type for public servers with a moderate player base. Pro: A plethora of server enhancing Plugins available, the vanilla Minecraft you love plus a lot more, easy to use and easy to join.
