It's almost more like a question of, did it work and was it worth it? Unfortunately it seems that the answer is yes to both.

It was a horrific event which reflects the horrors of humanity at its worst. But, we have not seen another event like it in 70 years and hopefully it will help keep more wars at bay.

Why should he apologize? Even if it wasn't war, he wasn't responsible for it. His apologies would either be an insult to the population who thought it was the right action to take (which ended the war if any of you have taken 5th grade history).

So let me ask anyone who thinks he should apologize. What should he apologize for?

Furthermore, what is there to approve? He paid them a visit. Obama gets on a plane. Goes to Japan. Meets. Talks about political stuff.

The question of approval was in regards to the use of the bomb. I asked to question purely to see what the responses would be.


And yes, but I meant it beyond the treaty. There are still threats.
