Playing Pokemon on an emulator was okay, i like being able to use cheat codes, but I would prefer a handheld device over an emulator any day.

Exactly, it was all about training your Pokemon to be the best and not just that, but to prove it.

When i was young, like 6 years old. I liked pokemon so much! everytime when i came from school i watched it. Before i went to sleep i watched it
it was so cool. But now the new pokemon is nothing. Sometimes i hate when things change in the future!

I like pokemon just now these days it gets old fast. Even tho I have a NDS with pokemon white..I dont even play it anymore.

Still find Pokemon awesome, but not the cartoon. Oh god not the cartoon.
Games are good, but they are playing it way too safe. It's the exact same formula repeated over and over, except with graphics getting better and better and characters becoming stupider and stupider.

I'mma make my own pokemon games!

I have to say that the first episodes of Pokemon get me so nostalgic.
I remember when my friends and I got an Action Replay for the DS. (It's like a Gameshark but a little different).
I had Pokemon Pearl, and both of my friends had Diamond. So we went out and bought another copy of Pearl and transferred all of the Pokemon that we wanted to keep to that one. Then we restarted our games and used the Action Replay to give us any Pokemon that we wanted to as our starter. I had chosen Gastly, my one friend chose Magikarp (he gave it tackle so it didn't just have splash. Otherwise he wouldn't have got anywhere in the game.) And my other friend chose Abra. We also made them shiny. It was the best play through of any Pokemon game that we ever had. I miss those days.
