This is definitely a necessary move. China has proven itself to be a radical state that will do anything for more power and control. Every nation needs to be proactive and aware of that threat. So now I'm wondering what Biden's approach on China will be. So far Trump has been tough on China, but not tough enough. Since he has many ties to China, I'll just assume he'll be lax until proven otherwise.

In fairness, that's actually not entirely true. While there are massive sales of iOS in the US, but a massive quantity still buy Android (like 40%?). This equates to a massive number of Chinese phones. Hell, even I own a Chinese device.

I hope Biden doesn't drop the ball completely. I'm not a big fan of the man, but I hope the US gov do continue to restrict China.

Yes that's what I'm saying. They're on opposite sides of the political spectrum so they will want different policies. That coupled with the fact that Joe Biden has ties to the CCP, makes me believe he won't be harsh on China.

What do you mean? The USA doesn't trust China's technology, so they don't want it there. However, if China complies with the US, they will be allowed to sell their tech there. I suppose it's the same with any international trade?
