I've PM'd you a couple of methods (In my blog) to disable It.

Windows Updates contain security fixes. Unless you WANT to keep vulnerabilities in windows you absolutely should install them. Defer them  a few months if you must but do not disable them.

i just use your first method that was quite easy ... took 15 second . HAHA  but how to know its really stop ?
In Windows 10, Microsoft removed the Windows update option from Control Panel.

In the services, make sure that both the "Windows Update" and "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" are disabled. Also, In the Windows 10 settings app, set the "Metered connection" to "on".

I'm fairly certain that will limit his entire connection. Again, if you want disable updates, defer them for a time.

I know precisely what I'm on about.

I Implement my own security measures, and haven't performed a single Windows update since Windows '95/ Windows NT 4.0. 25 years on, and my systems are running flawlessly without any security Issues whatsoever.

You have your opinion and I appreciate your view.

Metered connection will not limit the overall bandwidth, but rather reduce data usage to some apps.

I have It running as such on all 7 systems, and It's fine.

While I am sure yours is safe, I wouldn't give that advice to an average user.

I see your viewpoint, but In this case, the updates have caused more Issues (and continue to do so) than what they're worth.

OEM software that manages a given component, can cause Issues with Its functionality, but didn't you lose connectivity the moment a Windows update was performed?

Then It's a particular Windows update that caused the Issue.

Keep updates disabled- they've caused nothing but problems for you.
Believe me, you don't need Microsoft touching your system.

The thing Is, It should always remain stable and not enable/disable Itself every so often.

It's happened before with Windows updates, and you've experienced the same the moment you hit It again. Once this gets sorted, don't let anything touch your system- certainly not Windows updates. Can you perform a System Restore to the date of when It was functioning correctly?
