Double clock. NEVER double clock. You have one in the bottom right for a reason.
Don't make your desktop look like a spaceship.
Don't have 2 system infos.
No generic/default fonts

I'm going to find you, and break your computer for that.
Also, I've never had a use for start8. If I'm not opening start screen, I'm just using ⌘ Win + R to run programs without pushing anything.
