I am as non religious as it gets. I basically don't give a fuck about whats real/unreal because I have better things to worry about.

@pyran I never said that Satanists were "evil bad etc", merely stated they were here.

Alright, here is a quick example, a simple one, but eh. :

The Bible states that the world was created by God, in seven days. Each day, he added something new, from the oceans, to the animals, to light. I do not believe that it was in fact created in seven days. Rather, God was trying to explain his message to people in a different time. A sheep herder in 4000 BC is not going to be able to comprehend a number like the billions of years over which the Earth has developed to reach the point it is at today. So God provided an example they could understand, one that allowed them to know what God did.

Now, knowing that the earth is indeed over 4 Billion years old, I can surmise that God, over that time, guided the processes and formation of life, and guided evolution, eventually arriving at the evolution of humans.

At least, that is my interpretation of the story of creation.

Being a LaVeyan Satanist pushes me to do everything myself therefore not needing other people.

This being said, it's hard to filter the facts from the metaphors (the way you described it is definitely metaphorical). The whole damn thing could be one big metaphor for all we know.

It's funny seeing Christians call Satanists mean and unloving. Js. Lol.

Question here, since I'm genuinly curious.
If you are infact a Satanist, are you doing it because you really truely believe in Satanism, or are you doing it to bandwagon and piss off theists?

Satanism is about loyalty. Nobody would take the time to be judged and cast aside for a bandwagon and in this day and age Satanism is very uncommon.

Exactly this.
Even if it was to piss of Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc., it wouldn't even be remotely worth it.

I do truly believe in the teachings of Theistic Satanism.

Well, that's why there are so many different sects of christianity. I think it is up to you to physically go and read the bible, and come to your own conclusion.

Personally, LeVeyan Satanism seems like a almost.. an excuse of sorts, a way to do what you really want, because there is no higher authority that you answer to. While that higher authority does not need to be there(atheists, to be what society considers a "moral person' (someone who does things for others out of kindness, not personal gain), and the goal of religion is to become a better person. Helping others is part of becoming a better person.

Feel free to prove me wrong, I want to see what you come up with.

I've read the bible. Poor argument.

It's not even remotely an excuse. Religion from a Christian standpoint is a comfort factor in most cases. He's an atheist with morals built upon self-improvement. Would it be better if he was an atheist? Would that make you any happier because it doesn't have the word Satanism in it? Would it make you happy if he was an unhappy Christian, rather than a happy LaVeyan Satanist?

Honestly, until we have Christians under control, it's very hard to say that helping others is part of becoming a better person. If that was true, few Christians would be trying to become a better person.
Why do I say that? Christians USUALLY do things in order to please their God, NOT to help somebody else. They ask 'WWJD?', rather than, "how can I make this person's life better or easier?" Help doesn't count unless it's from the heart.
