I think it's time I get a place to store all my passwords other than Chrome, although it was useful in alerting me about the breach.
Why don't you use a password manager?
"I think it's time I get a place to store all my passwords other than Chrome" Is Chrome not considered a password manager btw?
I've been looking at Bitwarden.
Yeah I wouldn't use chrome as a password manager since you can pull the passwords from it I believe.
Bitwarden is good but have you also looked at Keepass and 1Password?

I second Keepass. I have been using it for a really long time. Really easy to use. Just back up your pwd stash regularly and you are good to go. Obviously, don't store everything you own under the same thing. Some passwords should be remembered and stored nowhere.

RE: Data breach FUCK #13
Yeah I used to have most accounts under a variation of a single password but I realized it got cracked a while ago which is a shame. I switched to a local password manager with varied passwords and migrated my important accounts over.

Easily done with both usernames & passwords.

Unlike Firefox, Google Chrome does not have a master password feature, which basically leaves stored credentials open to exploitation.

If I may ask, what data breach are you talking about here? I personally know 1 of my passwords has already been part of a data breach before, but I'm not too concerned. Unless more than 1 of my passwords have been leaked.

EDIT: I recommend you don't make enemies on the internet and you change the password on the more important accounts. I wouldn't be too concerned on the others. 400 accounts is a lot though. You should be using a password manager with that shit.

I haven't explored the market much. I did some searches, read some Reddit posts and it seemed like a favourite. Also 1 or both of those you mentioned have been breached (seen it mentioned a few times in my searches).

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @oni

It was a gaming breach. I'd rather not specify.

I recently learned that today. I previously thought having my email secured meant the passwords would also be good.

Were you able to use Google/w.e browser you use to help make the transition?

I'd rather not. Gaming list of over a million though.
