The Black Reaper also known as Hei, is a contractor, someone who has gained a certain power, but for a price. In season one, he is hired by the a group to carry out intelligence gathering and occasional assassinations against other contractors. As a contractor, he is a human being with no empathy, only using cold logic and his athleticism to make sure his assignment is complete.

Surprised I didn't post in this thread, regardless:

Darker than Black was one series I was particularly pleased to watch. It was something that my friend recommended, and I kinda put it to the end of my list. Eventually I gave it a chance, and boy was it good. I really really enjoyed it, and although Yin doesn't say much, or do much for that matter, she's my favorite character :3
