I'm just waiting for lowspecsgamer to release a potato version, it will be funny af to play it in 800x600.

The game has an interesting story/gameplay, so I don't place as much emphasis on the graphics. Would actually be worth playing on lower graphics, if you still ascertain what's going on.

Those recommendations are on par. Both are such utterly different stories, but fantastic. You'll definitely get a feel for that genre overlap too.

Apparently some people have been playing the game somewhat smoothly on Google Stadia :

Interesting that a mobile platform outperforms consoles and gaming pc rigs. A platform that doesn't require downloads and is generally the cheapest option. Weird!

Since the 1.05 update dropped I've seen noticable FPS increases throughout the game. CDPR also patched an issue affecting Ryzen users where the game would mostly utilize 2 cores instead of balancing out the games load across all cores. They've also addressed a number of prominent bugs, which is great to see since Cyberpunk is really the butt of all jokes right now.

The game could have been near flawless but it still would have been the butt of many jokes. Although, I am a bit confused as to how it's got this many performance issues after such a long wait for release. Was there no beta, perhaps?

With all of the fixing they've managed to do so far, I think CDPR should have just pushed the final release date to mid January. Seeing Cyberpunk in its current state I think it would have served the game well, and it would have also saved CDPR a lot of backlash from the console community over its horrendous Xbox One & PS4 performance.

I saw that Cyberpunk 2077 was removed from the Playstation Store only a few hours after it occured. I haven't read in detail about what's going on, but from what I can gather is that this is mostly Playstation's fault. I've read up on people's experiences trying to refund products from Sony, and found that nearly everybody has had a negative experience with them.

Finished the game, played on medium graphics on my 1050Ti laptop, I would say average fps was arround 23 with bumps to 30 when in the badlands with no people and drops to 18 in crowded areas.
