Cyberlaw HR4681 - MORE CFFA HACKING LAW TO GO AROUND #1
"David Cameron recently proposed banning encryption, Obama sided with him, now Obama introduced yet another insane proposal to update the US CFFA law against hacking.

If you click a link that contains illegal material, leaked information, if you're in an IRC channel or a online conversation, a forum, a chan, a Twitter discussion and some people are talking about hacking or something else illegal, even if you have nothing to do with it, if you go to Wikileaks, if you access leaked Snowden documents you can be prosecuted and sent to jail for up to 10 years.

In other words, every one of you who lives in the US is a criminal if this becomes a law."

Here's sauce on this: https://archive.today/WP5bm

ENJOY PRISON EVERYONE LOL

Wow, this is absolutely retarded, encryption makes sure you are not only safe but also anon on the Internet. Knowing that the government can't follow what you're doing. Surely this will cause a riot If this goes through.

If it goes through I'm moving to Switzerland. It'll never happen in Switzerland. Hell, copyright infringement is legal in Switzerland.

For some reason I want this to become a law for less skids, but at the same time I don't get what this will accomplish as said above people can just hack from other countries. This law doesn't add up at all.

This law = vpn's proxy chains + tor major income

Okay...first of all, it has nothing to do with banning encryption. Secondly, do you guys really think this will pass? Remember SOPA and PIPA.. The government has proven that they are dumber than [REDACTED] (sorry, had to do that). Also, the bill was at 20 years, not 10.

Now, everybody just calm your tits.

I guess I must have struck a nerve. Now where was that rule about respecting forum users? Why the hell are you staff? Somehow I'm the "dumb" one when you have yet to run a proper argument past me? I hope you realize how childish it is to throw out a quip like that in a thread that I hadn't even commented in. Thanks for representing sinisterly and the community in such a stand-up way!
