Condolence #1
Condelence

It is really sad to see that one of our friends has left, not temporary leaving but left us forever.

phyrrus9 is one of nicest members I have ever known, and I can't forget the day he started teaching me the basics of assembly in Discord Chat. I still have screenshots of that chat.

To @phyrrus9

I don't know, why you had to leave your friends as early as that and so silently. I'm still in shock How? Why? and many more questions..

We will always remember and miss you man!! We hadn't had enough time to meet each other IRL but let us hope to see you in the other world, resting in peace.

your friend!
Kurdy..

Note: If you have a nice diary with phyrrus9, Please share it in this thread!!

RE: Condolence #2
Phyrrus was a really valued member of SL for a long time, so several of us got to know him relatively well over the number of years that he was here. I distinctly recall having long chats with him on discord about cars, his life experiences and his passions for guns. There have been many times when some of us argued or disagreed, but that never changed the level of respect we had for Phyrrus, and we really hoped to see him back online someday. As his posts and tutorials will remain on this board, I hope future members will still benefit from his expertise and interests.

Phy was the first person in the Sinister.ly discord that I had a lengthy conversation with, and he answered all the stupid questions I had for him. Its sad that we cannot have such a skilled and kind member with us anymore, but his legacy will live on forever.

RE: Condolence #4
@phyrrus9 was one of the forum's greatest allies and one of the most interesting people I've known on the internet. He was a member for over 8 years, wrote some of the best tutorials, and even helped as staff at one point. His expertise with programming/firearms was unparalleled, and his strong opinions often helped shape the site. Anyone that was in the Discord, will have fond memories of his antics. The world has suffered a tremendous loss.

RE: Condolence #5
Phyrrus9 was a kind and big-hearted person and will be missed by a large number of people.
I'll always remember the time when I was scared of my first job interview and asked Phyrrus9 for help,
not only did he give me some pointers, he also gave me a full interview as-if I was in a real job interview,
this helped me overcome my fear and helped me with my confidence during the real one.
Phyrrus9 helped me numerous times and I've learned a lot from him during the years.
Warmest condolences to Sarcrates and the kids.
Rest in peace, Phyrrus9

@phyrrus9 and I didn't always see eye to eye on every issue, and we had our disagreements I still found him very knowledgeable and I think we all can agree that he wanted only the best for our community.
I want to extend my condolences to Sarcrates and the kids.
Rest in peace Phyrrus9, you will be missed

RE: Condolence #7
I hate to dig up an almost month old thread and its not something I would normally do but I think its warranted.

Being the person who I learned the most from and had the deepest interactions with, it breaks my heart to learn of this. I haven't been on in a while and so the shock is new to me in writing this.

I first learned about phy when I was early into the days of iPhone jailbreaking. I had been particularly interested in downgrading and getting into the iPhone Dev scene. He gave me a lot of information I had never even thought about and we had a lot of conversations on many of the topics which he found more important by then.

I would say he was greatly part of me choosing to make technology my primary focus.

His skills with programming, with cars, and with weapons of course were something unmatched on this forum and I could easily say he was the member I looked up to and idolized the most.

His loss is great on the world in general but not so greatly as it is to the forum and I wish all the best to  his wife, to their kids and I cherish the time and knowledge he gave.

Love and miss you Phy.

And @Sarcrates if you're ever struggling or need anything, myself along with all of the forum will always be there for you.

Don't mind if people gravedig here, as obviously some people are getting the news late. I'll be leaving the banner for another day or two.

RE: Condolence #9
Just received the email. I always admired the knowledge phyrrus had. It's a sobering thought when someone with so much knowledge and potential passes away, especially far too soon, but it's also a beautiful thing that much of this knowledge can be digitally preserved far beyond our physical deaths if we so please now. I'm happy many of us were able to learn, and people can continue learning from his efforts.

Damn, I still remember asking him about electronics on Discord. His tutorials were top notch, crealy written by someone who had a passion for teaching others. He will always be missed.
