Competition! Win AP-Points & maybe money #1
Hello members of AF!
I have coded an algorithm that crypts words and numbers.
The first one to decode the algorithm wins 260 AP and probably a money prize too Wink
Here are some tips:
All characters are lower case
There are 2 words
There are no numbers in the orginal words
Both words can be found in English wordlist/dictionary
the spaces means new letters, underscore means new word

Here comes the algorithm:
17 11 194 15 _196 1995 15 199

Good luck for thoose that tries Smile

PS: For thoose of you that says it is impossible: It IS possible. The combinations are logic combinations, that means there is possibility to get the word if you can think outside the box & clearly

Nope. It's wrong answer.

Do the spaces represent new letters, and the underscore represent a gap (so one word before the underscore, and one after)?

Well, I should not give any more hints, but for this one I will. It's correct. I'll add this to tips on he thread

4 letters, space, 5 letters.

All the 3-4 digit algorithms start with a 19.

All the numbers in the algorithms start with a 1...

So if the 1 is used to define that it's a letter and I add all the other numbers together, that number could be its place in the alphabet.
For example, 14 could mean a letter that is d (since d is the 4th letter in the alphabet).

Using this logic, the answer is:

game ower

I think you made a mistake with the 1995 where it should have been 1994.

The answer SHOULD be:

game over

^ Phytrix has the answer.

However, if you made it harder, it would be nearly impossible work out, since the possibilities are so great.
