Coinbase adds PayPal and credit card support

This is HUGE, at least for me.
You can sell and cash out to PayPal or buy with your credit card now. Directly from Coinbase!

Wouldn't it be possible to buy BTC with CC, move it out of the wallet then chargeback on the bank's side?

I've had an eye on bitcoin lately and I think it's a huge business move on Coinbase just by integrating PayPal.

Exactly, I'd like to see their measures to protect from things like this. Not to mention straight out carding it.

Yeahp, got the notification earlier today I think. It's a pretty awesome update, even if it may currently have some issues with chargebacks and whatnot

Coinbase is probably preparing for that, though.

They'll likely force users to verify their identity and what not before payment, just like any other site where you can buy BTC.

Coinbase is probably preparing for that, though.

From what I hear, they're doing a ton of verification before they let you in. Also you have to have an aged account, I think.
