So, I've got some extra PC hardware laying around my house that I don't really want to put in the effort to sell, so I figured that I'd just give some of it away.

For the first time, I'm giving away some DDR3 RAM.

They're 3 8GB 1600mhz modules, valued on Amazon for $77 each, for a total of 24GB ($231 value)


I'll be giving all 3 away to one lucky SL member, with free shipping to anywhere in the US (48 states). If you're outside of the US, you'll just have to pay for your shipping.

This contest will be a little different, to enter you have to reply to this thread, but your chances are determined by something different. In order to help get more HQ activity on SL, you will be judged by how many HQ threads you create from now until the drawing (December 24th).
By replying to this thread, I will keep track of the HQ threads you create during this period. For each qualifying thread you create, you will gain 1 entry. There will be no maximum on entries.

What do I define as a HQ thread?
Anything that helps and benefits users of SL. Things like high quality tutorials, writeups, etc. I'm not talking about a bunch of program shares, and I'm definitely not talking about anything illegal (retail theft, program cracks, etc). This is a pretty wide range that I consider HQ, but the goal is to teach SL members new things and try to turn the spark of intelligent conversation into the sun.

Contest entries are open immediately, there are no restrictions for entry.
