Chit n Chat - Marketplace guide [Very Detailed] #1
Hey guys,

Introduction:
Welcome to my Chit n Chat Marketplace guide. I'll try to make this as detailed as possible and cover all possible topics / issues so everything you need to know about how to trade on Chit n Chat will be in one place. If you think something should be added that I've missed just send me a message so I can add it in and add you to the credits at the bottom of the thread.

Contents:
  • Introduction
  • Contents

  • Reports

  • Known Businessmen

Rules:
All topics and posts must still follow the site rules which can be found in the help documents, http://chitnchat.net/misc.php?action=help.

I couldn't find any marketplace specific rules however if any are created I will update this thread accordingly with those rules.

Reports:

If you have been scammed by another user of Chit n Chat we recommend you create a dispute report in the reports section. The disputes section can be found here (http://chitnchat.net/forumdisplay.php?fid=49).

When filing a dispute report you must follow the specific thread layout:

Code:
Your username:
Scammers username:
Deal: (Example my $10 PayPal for his RuneScape account)
Proof of being scammed:
Other:

Please remember when filing a dispute report that:
  • Staff will never get involved unless there is SOLID proof.
  • You must include solid proof in your dispute or your thread will be junked.
  • Copy and pasted chat logs do not count as proof. You must upload and post a screenshot of the chat log.
  • Deal at your own risk. Chit n Chat Staff have nothing to do with deals.
  • A users Skype must be proved. Before dealing with a user via Skype, get them to private message you on Chit n Chat to confirm it is their Skype.
