Capital Punishment #1
This has been an ongoing argument for years when they took it away for many places around the world. Do you think we should have it for things like murder, rape, child molestation and other atrocities like those? I for one say yes, why should we store these people who take another's life and let them life in a prison, with a free education, food and shelter? Sure, it's not all fun in the sun there, but a grave would do just as well in my opinion.

If you're against this, think of this and this only. If that person KILLED, RAPED OR MOLESTED your child, girlfriend, mother or loved one. Wouldn't you want them dead or come to harm? Deep down I think everyone does as it's in human emotions. Why waste our hard work paying for these monsters to stay alive for years before even a trial. That's just stupid, our taxes could be going towards useful things like curing diseases, building our civilization and so on.

So, thoughts? I love debating. :yep:

I think that is should be the norm for capital punishment of people that abuse children.

200 years in jail is enough for murdered etc though.

And you want to pay for their time in jail? Just abuse children? The fuck. Murder is much worse than that, and rape.

You're saying the molestation of a child is better than murder? Do you have absolutely any idea what the mental effects are to children that are molested?

Rape? I guess that could be punished on a capital level, but the mental effects of rape usually aren't lasting; they can be beaten.

Murder? The punishment system is more mature than an eye for an eye.

Yes, since murder the life is gone. Children, there is still a chance for them to be rehabilitate and move on.

As for people not being executed for taking a life. If someone murdered your mother, you would just want them to sit in a jail and have YOU pay for their food, their free education, etc?

Are you that ignorant? Is you only concern in this money? Do you have any idea AT ALL how much it costs for 20 years of mental counselling for children that are molested?

If someone killed your mother, would you want to give them the easy way out? A quick, painless death? Or would you want them to suffer. Staring at the same grey wall in solitary for 70 years?

What's the point in life in prison when you are going to die either way? What's the point of the education? It's all useless.

Being is prison isn't really suffering compared to what it should be. (Depending where it is) I'd rather them gone, but yes. In this economic depression we are in. I believe it the money could be going to better things, Let's say to counselling those molested children or like I said in the OP. Diseases and what not.

I view everybody as a victim of biology. We often resent people as if they had the free will to do 'otherwise', however this isn't the case. My belief stems from this premise.

Yes, I agree with you.
The murder/raper/... should be killed, I don't see the point in getting in jail, he just sits there for like 5-10 years and after that it's most likely he hasn't changed so he'll do it again. I probably would poison their food, and get them killed.
