People do some strange things in a heatwave, but these bears have the right idea:

My goodness, 47 degrees Is too much for anyone to handle.

In particular, pets, the elderly and those with medical conditions need looking after during extreme temperatures.

Really sad that current heatwave has claimed lives. Temperature is rising all over, culprit being global warming. Certain places have seen temperature rise like never before. Precautions should be taken to avoid heat stroke. Especially vulnerable will be children and elderly. Keeping well hydrated is a must.

I have a couple of buddies out in Portland oregon. They are sweating their balls off in 110 F weather. Meanwhile, it's 60 F in my town. It's crazy the heat bubble up north right now. Apparently power lines are melting their insulation in oregon.

That's Insane.

When a heatwave hits my locality, It actually buckles the train tracks to the point of stopping all services.

I'll state the obvious which no doubt you're aware of, be sure to stay hydrated at all times.

Even If you don't feel thirsty, drink plenty of water.

It's a very tragic and unprecedented situation out there. With around 200 casualties and thousands missing, it certainly is becoming a tragedy beyond comprehension. Blame it on climate change or whatever! But who have brought about this global warming. Unfortunately each one of us is equally responsible for the calamities happening around the world. True governments are working to reduce global warming but as it is evident, more needs to done. Each human being on earth needs to be responsible for his actions if our human race is to survive.
