Can I refund a friends amazon account to my own??

Hello, so far I've only been reading comments on this site but now I've decided to actually be more social in it! I'm a new SE and se'ed amazon twice and I wanted advice on how to refund an Xbox one my friend bought on his account. I want to get the refund in a form of gc so I can use it on my personal account but can that be possible if he used his cc? Would it refund back his cc or will the amazon reps give me an option to refund using a gc I can attach to another(my personal account). I'll be checking this back every few house in case someone can help me thanks! Ps should I use his account to buy stuff then refund? I don't think I should buy you guys are my judge lol

Generally speaking, all purchases performed via a given transaction (such as a credit card), will be debited back Into the very same account.

I cannot speak for all merchants, so It's best you read over Amazon's TOS.

Yeah I'll check there TOS & I was also thinking of telling them I don't use that cc/ I cancelled it anymore and I would like it on a gc

I think if you cant get it done that way, maybe, just maybe you can use P1LOT's Amazon refund service, although he is currently banned, he should be back soon!

No. They check your email to see if you actually ordered it.

Use your friends email and then buy another one and send it to your address

I have his amazon account, you think I should contact amazon and give the order number and tell them I never received it so they can send me another one? If I do that would my friend get an email saying it never got delivered, I don't want him to get suspicious. What do u think?

If you choose this, they'll definitely be In contact with your friend. It's his account, therefore any Inquiries made pertaining to his account will be performed against It. Furthermore, this puts a whole new spin on the situation, meaning you'll need to SE Amazon as to how and why you didn't receive the Item.

Given you're using his account without his knowledge, I take It that this "friend" of yours Is not very well respected by yourself. On these grounds, as @"Zenith" mentioned, use your friends account and send the Item to a nominated address.

Ok I see what your saying, but I refunded items on my own account and I don't recall getting an email from amazon stating to confirm the refund since I did it through the chat. I have the email and password for his amazon account but the password for his actual email I don't have. I was thinking of going into the chat and tell them I never received it and see if they can send me another or refund me... that being said how would I ship to to my address? Should I just say I moved? I'm sorry I'm asking a lot lol I just wana cover myself.... OR I could just buy a PS4 on his account and then request a return, but I'm sure he'll get an email about a order and try to cancel it or even change his password so I'm not sure about that method
