looks really nice, I would remove the bg or add borders in my opinion

That's just to match HF's background so it makes it harder for someone else on a different forum to steal.

Yeah, I agree. But they said they wanted it similar to that. So yeah. Originally I was thinking of a shield-like design but I thought it was overused.

The theme and overall design fit very well with the word; "Brotherhood" and its meaning. Its a royal look, and a look that looks like a strong partnership. Something brothers often have, or had in in the middle-age at least. The only thing I don't really get is the color choices, it looks strange with the name and design. The drop shadow on the text also ruins the flow of the userbar.
