I'd argue attracting a bunch of attention without opsec to match, is dumb. Between messing with 3-letters and trolling Vinny, he undoubtably painted a target on his back.

Yea honestly, I would say its somewhat dumb on his part. Smart on the part of the FBI obviously, but for him it was just kind of stupid. If I was in his position and a dump had been made, but I realized it was only partial because it didn't contain my information; I simply would have moved on. Although the truth is, everyone gets sloppy eventually.
