If you don't mind the render times and everything, you could dual that with a partnership, and get legitimate subs doing video game recording and gameplay.
But, if you want to get true HD video which is a huge plus, you're looking at 30min - 1h of render time depending on program and computer speed.

I don't feel my PC is good enough for game recordings etc. I do have a legit hardware and game review site for my adsense with some videos I could use.

I find as long as you think you'd be interested in what content you post, other people are interested too, so long as you put work into it.
And you never know, I've done game recording/rendering with a $300 laptop hooked up to a second monitor, the second monitor being the area I used for the games.
This was actually my set up shortly before my laptop's battery and adapter both went to crap:

Ghetto as fuck, bro. But pretty cool. I think I'd lose interest in it and get frustrated with myself before it took off.

Reason I stuck with it is because I half want to make a career out of it. Video games are legit my favourite thing, beyond my girlfriend.
& Its not something you have to do constantly, at least until it becomes extremely popular.
But, having slaves subscribe to you & rate your videos up, watch them, click ads & etc makes monetizing your videos much more efficient, plus that gives you free publicity, since the more subs you have, the more likely someone is to subscribe.
