Boarding Schools #1
Has anyone come from a boarding school?
I am thinking about going to a Boarding School in Europe for the 2 last years of HS (IB) and I wanted to know what its like, and if there is anything I should be aware of...

Eh... I went to a boarding school, but it was practically a military academy. As long as you're going to a regular one, you might like it.

on the little booklet someone brought back after a trip there, I read the rules and they said something like "no drugs or alcohol allowed in campus (including cannabis)...
so I guess they've had some incidents

so I guess they've had some incidents

All schools are required to have that rule.

Also, the drinking age for most places is 18. They can't really let you drink on campus or they will get in trouble. Also, in the USA the drinking age is 21.

As I said, most places. There are a few places that 16 is the age in though, for sure. Some of the places don't bother following the laws either. I remember when I first moved here they sold me cigarettes/cigars even though I was without a doubt underage. They only refused to sell to me once and it was most likely because the person at the register just happened to speak English.
