NVM Is Non-Volatile Memory that basically allows faster transfer of data, so I don't see how It's preventing the VM from functioning.
If your hardware supports virtualization, you shouldn't have any Issues getting a VM up and running.
Ive got Blackarch installed on my PC too, so I can always run it from there
