Bitcoin Price Rock Bottom? #1
Greetings everyone,

Bitcoin Is always (Inevitably) In the limelight, this time pertaining to It's price falling to a 50-day low and expected to drop further over the weekend.

Quote:Per an article today in by Omkar Godbole in Coindesk, Bitcoin may finally be reaching the bottom of its bear run.

To cryptocurrency enthusiasts, this might come as a welcome hypothesis—with Bitcoin hitting a 50-day low today at $6,630 USD—though Godbole indicates that it's probably going to get worse before it gets better, speculating that BTC will fall in the $6,600-$6,000 range over the weekend.

A good time to Invest? Discuss.

Whilst I agree to a certain degree, It's fluctuation In price Is quite unpredictable.

When Bitcoin first originated around 9 years ago, who would ever have thought/predicted It's price would be where It stands today- even at one of It's lowest points, let alone when It peaked.

When I bought my first Bitcoin in 2012 it cost me 746.00 but I could afford to let it sit and sit and sit untill I sold it for 13,000 then a week later it jumped to almost 20,000 and it has been on a downward spiral ever sense. I think when Bitcoin got out of the hands of techees like all of us and suit and ties got ahold of it. It was destined to fail
There greed will destroy a good thing quickly. So no I don't think it's a good time to invest. Just my opinion.

At what point (year) did you actually sell? I'm Interested In knowing exactly when It started to decline.

The first week or so of February and then close to the third week it peaked. A couple of days after that it started to decline and then it took a major hit and has not recovered. It sat around 11,000 for a week or so and then it has been dropping ever since. I still have some with coinbase. When it started to decline they forked with Bitcoin cash but it too is taking a hit started strong but has declined a bunch I think it's trading at 688.00.

I assume It's referring to February of this year?

If so, judging by the latest happenings with Bitcoin, It makes perfect sense.

There was no way that it was going to sustain itself. Anyone who was part of the bitcoin boom and lost a bunch of money when the bubble burst.... they had it coming really.

Thank god I didn't invest in Bitcoin when everybody else did. I know something was about to go wrong the second the newspapers were full of advertisements to invest in Bitcoin.

I knew the bubble was about to burst and luckily I did not invest in it back then, once everybody else did. I'm a little bit disappointed in cryptocurrencies in general though, since all values of crypto's have gone to shit.

If they're restoring to advertising In newspapers, It's a classic case of "desperate times call for desperate measures".
