Bethesda's E3 Fallout 4 Showcase #1
I should probably be asleep because I have an exam tomorrow, but I had to stay up and watch Bethesda's epic E3 Showcase. Along with DOOM, Dishonoured 2, and a bunch of super epic hype-worthy titles, Fallout 4 was revealed.

As you can expect, our skype chat was going crazy (@WuhTehFuh, @roger_smith, and I in particular) due to such announcements as:
  • 50+ basic weapons with 700+ mods
  • Multiple crafting paths
  • Fully customizable bases with multiple locations
  • Real pipboys with app support (android and iOS)
  • Fallout Shelter, a standalone mobile app from Bethesda released today
  • Nextgen game engine
  • Enhanced character creation
  • Multi platform (CurrentGen consoles + PC)
  • Power armor customization
  • Dogmeat (obviously)
  • Fucking beautiful graphics
And, as a bonus, here's the twitch showcase video.

Everything about this has my hype through the freaking roof. I can't wait.

Oh, I almost forgot. The release date is November 10th of this year!!

Now, If you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go cry because Fallout Shelter isn't supported on my shitty phone.

Never got to play Fallout so can't be hyped, but seems like from your description its a rather ambitious title then.

I had preordered it on Steam, but after seeing that Pipboy gimmick that they showed off, I'm getting my refund and buying the special edition off Amazon. However the game looks fantastic. I see it as the type of game that can be played for years without even modding it, but who knows. Kinda saddened to not have like a 2-4 player Coop but I will survive. On another note I've been playing Fallout Shelter and it's surprisingly fun, so if anyone has an iOS device I'd suggest playing it. Now I'm extremely pumped to see what the rest of E3 has in store for us.

I really can't see it being a letdown, from the looks of things it is going to possibly be one of the best games released in a long time

My last overhype was GTAV on PC, I don't wanna go through that again, so I'll wait and see before I get excited.

Spoiler:
also never forget watchdogs

The PC-to-Console mod switch is pretty cool. I was so amazed with Bethesda.
