As a matter of Interest, how does It perform compared to major providers such as NordVPN, PIA, ExpressVPN etc?

Try out Mullvad or IVPN

these are the best privacy leading VPN's that are not 'popular'.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I've yet to try either one, so I'll definitely do so over the weekend.

also refrain from using protonmail, I've taken this from as the source: https://support.countermail.com/kb/faq.php?id=258

"We believe that an independent company has more ways to control the whole company and the company policy, one reason is that we are not required to hire people from any big fund raiser, and we are not required to follow some special requirements created by a fund raiser.

We feel a bit sorry for the people who paid for their Protonmail accounts IF they thought that Protonmail.com could not monitor their own users IP-addresses, which they apparently can do, read for yourself:

I've always had my doubts about ProtonMail, and this pretty much confirms It.

Appreciate the link. I plan to research It further later this evening.

Sucks to hear about protonmail, in my eyes it's really only good for the selling of online accounts(like PSNs, Xbox, etc) simply because you can delete the proton account. But, other than that, I have my doubts about most of these sites.

Yes and all the content you posted is free to read on which is something I appreciate a ton. There are many users selling PDF's or Handbooks on how SE works.. most are complete scams.
